Herpex Cream is used for Skin infection, Genital herpes, Chicken pox, Herpes simplex virus infections and other conditions. Herpex Cream may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Herpex Cream contains Acyclovir Topical as an active ingredient.

Herpex Cream works by relieving the pain and discomfort.

Herpex Cream Uses

Herpex Cream is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

  • Skin infection
  • Genital herpes
  • Chicken pox
  • Herpes simplex virus infections
  • Herpex Cream may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Herpex Cream Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Herpex Cream improves the patient’s condition by performing the following functions:

  • Relieving the pain and discomfort.

Herpex Cream – Composition and Active Ingredients

Herpex Cream is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

  • Acyclovir Topical – 5%

Herpex Cream – Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Herpex Cream. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

  • Itching
  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Burning
  • Stinging of skin

Herpex Cream may also cause side-effects not listed here.

Herpex Cream – Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Herpex Cream is a contraindication. In addition, Herpex Cream should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • child under 12 years old
  • have skin problems
  • herbal products
  • hypersensitivity
  • vitamins
