What is Trioday?

Trioday Tablet is used for Hiv infection, Hiv, Hepatitis b virus infection, Hepatitis b virus and other conditions. Trioday Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Trioday Tablet contains Efavirenz, Lamivudine and Tenofovir as active ingredients.

Trioday Tablet works by increasing the number of infection fighting cells in the body; blocking the activity of a viral enzyme; blocking RNA-dependent DNA polymerase function in viral DNA replication.

Trioday Tablet Uses

Trioday Tablet is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

  • Hiv infection
  • Hiv
  • Hepatitis b virus infection
  • Hepatitis b virus
  • Trioday Tablet may also be used for purposes not listed here.

Trioday Tablet Working, Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology

Trioday Tablet improves the patient’s condition by performing the following functions:

  • Increasing the number of infection fighting cells in the body.
  • Blocking the activity of a viral enzyme.
  • Blocking RNA-dependent DNA polymerase function in viral DNA replication.

Trioday Tablet – Composition and Active Ingredients

Trioday Tablet is composed of the following active ingredients (salts)

  • Lamivudine – 300 MG
  • Tenofovir – 300 MG
  • Efavirenz – 600 MG

Trioday Tablet – Side-effects

The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Trioday Tablet. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

  • Fatigue
  • Insomnia
  • Abnormal dreams
  • Runny nose
  • Rash
  • Hair loss
  • Trioday Tablet may also cause side-effects not listed here.

 

Trioday Tablet – Precautions & How to Use

Before using Trioday Tablet, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.).

Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.

  • Always taken in combination with other anti-HIV medicines and never alone
  • Any signs of skin rash or inflammation or infection
  • Avoid driving and operating heavy machinery if you experience dizziness from taking this medication
  • Avoid pregnancy
  • Children
  • Difficulty concentrating or abnormal dreaming

 

Trioday Tablet – Drug Interactions

If you use other drugs or over the counter products at the same time, the effects of Trioday Tablet may change. This may increase your risk for side-effects or cause your drug not to work properly. Tell your doctor about all the drugs, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, so that you doctor can help you prevent or manage drug interactions. Trioday Tablet may interact with the following drugs and products:

  • Acyclovir
  • Atazanavir
  • Ativan
  • Cidofovir
  • Didanosine
  • Ergostat

Trioday Tablet – Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to Trioday Tablet is a contraindication. In addition, Trioday Tablet should not be used if you have the following conditions:

  • Allergic
  • Breastfeeding
  • Clay-colored stools
  • Dark urine
  • Deep and rapid breathing
  • Drowsiness
